Bois-Colombes is a compact commune in Hauts-de-Seine, just beyond the Paris ring, and it covers under two square kilometres. It shares its borders with Colombes, Courbevoie, Asnières and La Garenne-Colombes, so the map shows a town without an obvious edge.
