Capunda lies in the Kwanza Sul province of Angola, a short distance east of Conda, in the rolling country inland from the coast. It is a small place, and from above it appears as a modest cluster of streets and plots surrounded by a large landscape of fields, trees and tracks.
The map is simple and spacious. A few main roads give the settlement its structure, with smaller paths leading off to homes and farms.
