Itapetinga Map Poster & Print
Itapetinga lies in the southwest of Bahia, in a region of rolling pasture between the coast and the dry interior. On the map, the town forms a compact area of streets on either side of a river, with the land around it almost entirely open grassland.
The centre follows a fairly regular grid, as in many Brazilian interior towns, with a few main avenues cutting across it. Newer neighbourhoods have spread up the gentle slopes on each side, and roads leave the town toward the coast and the neighbouring municipalities.
The regional economy has long been based on beef and dairy cattle, and Itapetinga is one of the main centres of livestock farming in Bahia, with related industries such as leather and footwear. An Itapetinga map poster shows a town built at the centre of its ranching country.

Regular centre
The central streets form a simple grid of blocks crossed by wider avenues, a clean and even pattern in print.
Open pastures
Around the town, open grazing land leaves large empty areas on the poster, so the street network stands out clearly.
