Jaral del Progreso Map Poster & Print
Jaral del Progreso is a municipality in southern Guanajuato, in the Bajío, Mexico's fertile central lowland. The land around the town is broad and flat, farmed intensively and crossed by irrigation channels. The town lies among neighbours such as Valle de Santiago and Salvatierra.
From above, the town is laid out on a clear, regular grid around a central square and parish church, as in many Mexican towns. The blocks are square and even, and the streets end where the fields begin. Farm roads leading out of town continue the grid across the plain.
A Jaral del Progreso map poster shows an orderly town in a flat agricultural landscape. The composition is calm and balanced, with a dense grid in the centre and long field lines around it. It's a portrait of a Bajío town as people who live there see it every day.

Regional roads
