Manikchari is an upazila town in the Khagrachari Hill District, part of the Chittagong Hill Tracts in southeastern Bangladesh. It looks very different from the flat, river-dominated plains that cover most of the country. Around Manikchari the ground folds into low hills and narrow valleys, and the map follows those folds.
