Mikhaylovsk Map Poster & Print
Mikhaylovsk sits directly north of Stavropol in southern Russia and is the administrative centre of the Shpakovsky district. The two places have grown so close that on a map the boundary is hard to see: Stavropol's streets simply continue into Mikhaylovsk's, and new housing fills the space that once separated them.
The town was founded in the late eighteenth century as a village, known for much of the twentieth century as Shpakovskoye, and it kept the regular grid typical of settlements laid out on the southern steppe. Long parallel streets run across gently rising ground, divided into rectangular blocks with private houses and gardens, while newer apartment districts add larger blocks on the edges.
Around the town, the land of the Stavropol Upland opens into fields and shallow valleys. A Mikhaylovsk map poster captures a clear, orderly street pattern with a larger city pressing against one side and open farmland on the other, which makes for a surprisingly strong composition in black and white.

Merged with Stavropol
Along the southern edge the street network runs without a break into Stavropol, so a wider frame shows two settlements joining into one urban area.
Upland setting
The town lies on the rolling Stavropol Upland, and beyond the last streets the map opens into fields and gently cut valleys.

Poukisa Mikhaylovsk
Yon kat ki gen sans
Mikhaylovsk has grown quickly as families move out from Stavropol for more space, and a map of the town is a fitting marker of that move. The orderly grid also suits clean modern interiors, where a graphic print works better than a photograph.
Personalise the title, add a subtitle such as your street or a year, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, download HD files in six sizes for $9, or order a printed poster.
