Murrysville is a municipality in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, east of Pittsburgh in the hilly country of the Allegheny Plateau. It covers a large area for its population, and the map reflects that. There is no gridded town centre. Instead, roads thread through wooded hills, and residential streets and cul-de-sacs sit in the folds of the land.
Turtle Creek runs through the municipality, and U.S. Route 22, the William Penn Highway, crosses it as the main commercial road.
