Nezlobnaya is a stanitsa, a traditional Cossack settlement, in Stavropol Krai in the south of Russia. It lies on the open plain north of the resort towns of the Caucasian Mineral Waters region, close to Georgiyevsk. The land here is farmland, and the settlement's scale reflects agriculture rather than industry.
Like many stanitsas in the North Caucasus, it is laid out on a broad, regular pattern. Long parallel streets are crossed by shorter lanes, forming large blocks. Each house has a deep garden plot behind it. From above, the result is an open lattice spread over a wide area, with fields right up to its edges.
