Old town core
The shrine and the surrounding lanes form the heart of Sharqpur. The streets are narrow and irregular, making this the densest part of the poster.

Sharqpur Sharif Map Poster & Print
Sharqpur Sharif lies in Sheikhupura District of Punjab, a short distance north-west of Lahore, near the Ravi river. The plain here is flat and fertile. From above, the town is a compact mesh of old lanes around its centre, with roads radiating across fields and orchards toward the river and the neighbouring towns.
The town is best known for the shrine of Mian Sher Muhammad Sharqpuri, a revered Naqshbandi Sufi saint, which draws visitors from across Pakistan. Sharqpur is also famous for its guavas. Orchards surround the town, and on the map they appear as neat, regularly divided parcels, different from the open wheat and rice fields further out.
A Sharqpur Sharif map poster brings together a spiritual centre and an agricultural landscape. The dense old core, the orchard belt and the river's meandering course give the sheet three distinct textures, each easy to read in black and white.

Guava orchards
Orchards ring the town in orderly plots. They give the middle zone of the map a fine, regular pattern that sets Sharqpur apart.
Toward the Ravi
The Ravi winds across the plain nearby, with a broad floodplain and shifting channels. It adds the only large curves to an otherwise flat composition.
