Vargem Grande do Sul Map Poster & Print
Vargem Grande do Sul lies in the northeast of São Paulo state, close to the border with Minas Gerais. The surrounding countryside is rolling and agricultural, a landscape of fields, pasture and low hills. The town grew as a service centre for that farmland, and its map reflects it: a compact grid in the middle, with roads leading out into the rural area.
Like many towns in the São Paulo interior, it has a central church square and a fairly regular street plan that extends outward in newer neighbourhoods. The terrain is gentle enough for the grid to hold, but slopes in some areas bend the outer streets and give the edges some variation.
A Vargem Grande do Sul map poster shows a clear, well-ordered town set in open country. The blocks form a steady pattern, and the roads reach out toward the surrounding farms. In black and white, the simplicity of the plan makes a restful composition, a portrait of an inland Brazilian town at human scale.

Rolling farmland
Agricultural land surrounds the town on all sides. The open fields give the map generous margins and set the settlement clearly in its rural context.
Border country
The town sits near the boundary between São Paulo and Minas Gerais. Roads leading out connect it to communities on both sides of the state line.
