Wangjia is a town in Chongqing municipality, in the hilly country north of the main urban core. The landscape here is a series of low ridges and small valleys, and the town's layout follows them. Streets bend to stay on level ground, and development spreads in uneven lobes rather than a single compact block.
Because it lies within reach of the larger urban area, the map shows two scales side by side: older local streets that twist through the town, and broader, straighter roads that belong to the region's expanding network. Farmland and wooded slopes fill the gaps where the terrain is too broken to build on.
