Weston Map Poster & Print
Weston is a village in Marathon County, Wisconsin, on the southeastern side of the Wausau area. It has grown mainly as a residential and commercial suburb, and the map shows it clearly: newer streets bending into loops and cul-de-sacs, with larger roads and commercial strips running between them.
Unlike an old town centre, Weston has no single historic grid. Its form comes from gradual postwar and more recent development, with neighbourhoods added piece by piece among fields and woods. From above, that makes a pattern of distinct pockets, each with its own curves, connected by straight arterial roads.
A Weston map poster also takes in the landscape around it: river valleys, patches of forest and the open farmland of central Wisconsin. The mix of looping residential streets and long rural lines gives the print an organic texture that contrasts well with the gridded cities most people expect to see on a wall.

Arterial roads
Straight highways and main roads cut through the village and link it to Wausau and Schofield, giving the poster its firmest lines.
River and woodland
Wooded land and river corridors wind between neighbourhoods, leaving open, irregular spaces that break up the built-up areas.
