Historic centre
The older core of Baturité forms a tighter cluster of streets on lower ground, where the town's churches, squares and commercial blocks are concentrated.

Baturité Map Poster & Print
Baturité takes its name from the Maciço de Baturité, a range of green uplands that rises out of the dry interior of Ceará. The town sits at the base of these hills, and its street pattern reflects the terrain: a denser centre on flatter ground, with roads curving and branching as they climb. On a map the contrast between the compact core and the irregular edges is immediately visible.
The Baturité massif is known for its cooler, wetter climate compared with the surrounding sertão, which has made it an area of coffee growing, weekend houses and small hill towns. Baturité also gave its name to one of the early railways of Ceará, built from Fortaleza toward the interior in the nineteenth century, and the old line remains part of the town's identity.
A Baturité map poster is a study in how a town meets the land around it. Streets that begin in straight lines soften into curves, and the surrounding hills appear as open space rather than grid. It is a quiet, well-balanced image, and one that people who know the region's mountain roads tend to recognise immediately.

Railway line
The rail corridor that once linked Baturité with Fortaleza cuts a steady line through the town, a straight stroke that stands out against the curving hill roads.
Massif slopes
Around the town, roads follow the contours of the Baturité uplands, bending and splitting as they climb, which gives the edges of the poster a more organic feel.

Miért Baturité?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
For anyone from Ceará, Baturité stands for the green hills and the cooler air of the serra. A map of the town brings that into the home, whether it goes on a living room wall or in a study.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with a family name or the date of a first visit to the serra. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
