Bang Pakong bends
The river swings through the town in long, generous curves. It is the widest and boldest line on the sheet and gives the whole composition its movement.

Chachoengsao Map Poster & Print
Chachoengsao sits on the lower Bang Pakong River, east of Bangkok, and on a map the river is the whole story. It loops in broad curves through flat country, and the town has grown on the inside of one of those bends. The streets stay close to the water, and the built-up area gets looser as it moves inland toward fields and fish ponds.
The town is best known for Wat Sothonwararam, the riverside temple that draws pilgrims from across Thailand to see the revered Luang Pho Sothon Buddha image. Near the old centre, short lanes run down to the riverbank, and a railway line crosses the plain toward the east. The result is a plan that looks like it was drawn by the river first and the builders second.
A Chachoengsao map poster suits that kind of layout. The river becomes a heavy dark ribbon, the town a dense cluster of fine lines pressed against it, and the countryside around it a quiet field of scattered roads and waterways. There is not much ornament, just a river town reduced to its structure.

Temple on the bank
Wat Sothonwararam occupies a large riverside plot. Its grounds and outline form a distinct block along the water, a clear anchor at the edge of the town centre.
Plain around the town
Away from the centre, the lines thin into canals, field roads and pond edges. The flat delta landscape reads as a soft, open texture around the denser core.

Miért Chachoengsao?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
People who grew up here, married here or made a pilgrimage to the temple often want the river town on the wall as it actually is: a bend of water and the streets that follow it. On the map, the place comes down to a few honest lines.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, adding a family name, a wedding date or a simple Chachoengsao, Thailand. Choose between Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, then download the $9 HD files or order a matte print, framed if you like.
