Condesa Map Poster & Print
Condesa is one of Mexico City's most recognizable neighborhoods on a map, thanks to a single shape. Avenida Amsterdam forms a closed oval loop that follows the track of a former horse racing course, and it encircles Parque México. The surrounding streets bend to fit this curve instead of following a strict grid, which gives the district an unusually soft outline among the city's straight avenues.
The neighborhood was developed mainly in the 1920s and 1930s, and many buildings from that period are Art Deco or colonial revival in style. Parque México and the nearby Parque España are its two main green spaces, both shaded by mature trees. The wide planted median along Avenida Amsterdam makes even the road feel like part of the park system.
A Condesa map poster sets curves and circles against the right angles around them. The oval of Amsterdam, the rounded paths inside Parque México and the angled avenues crossing the district give the print movement, while Insurgentes and the surrounding grid frame it. Few city plans look this close to something drawn by hand.

Parque México
Inside the loop, the park has curving paths and an open-air theater. It appears as a rounded green shape at the heart of the map.
Parque España
A second, smaller park on the northeastern side of the neighborhood adds another green block and connects to the tree-lined streets that lead toward Roma.

Miért Condesa?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
Condesa is a place people fall for on foot, walking the loop of Amsterdam under the trees. Its curving plan turns that walk into a shape, which is why it looks so distinctive framed on a wall.
The title, subtitle and coordinates can be personalized, perhaps with an apartment address or a year. Choose among five styles, from Classic black and white to Noir, then download the $9 HD files or order a matte print.
