Curving subdivisions
Residential areas are built as looping streets and cul-de-sacs. They form dense, rounded shapes that give the poster its distinctive rhythm and set it apart from gridded city maps.

Ferry Pass Map Poster & Print
Ferry Pass is an unincorporated community in Escambia County, spread across the suburban ground north of central Pensacola. It has no single historic centre. Instead the map shows a broad field of residential streets, many of them curving lanes and cul-de-sacs, threaded between larger main roads lined with shops and services. Tree cover and creeks break up the pattern in places.
The eastern side of the area leans toward Escambia Bay, and small creeks and bayous drain toward the water, giving the street network its irregular edges. The name itself points back to a time before modern bridges, when crossing the waters around Pensacola often meant taking a ferry.
A Ferry Pass map poster captures a very American suburban landscape: winding subdivisions, long commercial corridors and patches of green along the waterways. Drawn in fine black lines, the loops and dead ends take on a surprisingly organic quality, closer to the veins of a leaf than to a rigid grid.

Main roads
A few major roads carry traffic north and south between Pensacola and the outer suburbs. Their straight lines divide the neighbourhoods into distinct pockets.
Creeks and bayous
Small creeks wind through the community toward Escambia Bay, drawing irregular green corridors through the street pattern and softening the edges of the map.

Miért Ferry Pass?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
Ferry Pass is where many Pensacola households actually live, raise children and settle down, often after years of moving around. A map of the neighbourhood marks a real home rather than a tourist view, and it makes a considered gift for a housewarming or a move away.
Add a family name, street or move-in date to the title and subtitle, edit the coordinates line, and choose among Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Prints come on matte paper, with or without a wooden frame, and the HD files cost $9.
