Fortim Map Poster & Print
Fortim is on the east coast of Ceará, where the Jaguaribe River, one of the state's most important rivers, reaches the Atlantic. The map is shaped by water. A broad estuary with channels and sandbanks runs along one side, the ocean shore curves along another, and the town's streets fill the ground between them in a small, compact grid.
The name comes from a small fort that once guarded the river mouth, a reminder of the colonial importance of this stretch of coast. Today the municipality is known for its beaches, including the headland of Pontal de Maceió, with coloured cliffs and dunes. Coconut palms, mangroves and sandy tracks fill much of the land around the town.
A Fortim map poster combines river, sea and settlement in one frame. The estuary's shifting shapes and the long coastline give the design drama, while the town's streets add fine detail. It suits people with family on this coast and visitors who remember its beaches, and it looks particularly good in Blueprint or Sand.

Atlantic shoreline
A long line of beach and headland runs along the coast. It sets a clean border between land and sea, giving the composition a clear sense of place.
Compact town grid
The streets of Fortim form a small, orderly grid between river and sea. Their straight lines contrast with the curves of the water around them.
