Kendari Bay
The bay dominates the composition, its outline bending around peninsulas and inlets, with the city's roads following the shoreline closely on most sides.

Kendari Map Poster & Print
Kendari is the capital of Southeast Sulawesi, and its map is organised around Kendari Bay, a sheltered body of water that reaches deep inland and connects to the open sea only through a narrow entrance to the east. The city surrounds the bay on several sides, so that from above the water sits at the centre like a large, irregular lake.
The older harbour quarter lies toward the bay's entrance, where streets are tighter and closer to the water. Newer districts spread south and west across gentler ground, with broad roads linking government buildings, markets and residential areas. Hills rise to the north, and small rivers drain into the bay through low, marshy margins.
In recent years a bridge has been built across the bay near its entrance, shortening the route between the two shores and giving the map a new line across the water. A Kendari map poster shows this unusual inward-facing form, with the city looking onto its own bay rather than the ocean.

Narrow sea entrance
To the east the bay pinches into a slim channel before opening to the sea, a detail that gives the whole map its distinctive enclosed shape.
Bridge over the bay
A modern bridge spans the water near the entrance, drawing a clean straight line between the northern and southern shores that stands out clearly at larger print sizes.

Miért Kendari?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
Kendari is a place people come back to, whether they grew up by the bay, studied at one of its universities or moved there for work. A map of its shoreline, with your own title and a meaningful date, keeps that place close.
Choose from five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. A free 900 px watermarked preview lets you check the framing first, then the $9 download includes all six print sizes as 300 DPI PNGs and print-ready PDFs.
