Maidstone Map Poster & Print
Maidstone sits in the heart of Kent, where the River Medway curves through a gentle valley. From above, the river forms the spine of the map, with the historic core and High Street on its eastern bank and further neighbourhoods rising on either side. Roads radiate out in all directions, and the M20 crosses the landscape to the north of the town.
As the county town of Kent, Maidstone has long been an administrative centre. A cluster of historic buildings stands by the river, including the Archbishop's Palace, once a residence of the Archbishops of Canterbury. Mote Park, one of the larger town parks in the south east, spreads across the eastern side, and Leeds Castle lies a few miles beyond.
A Maidstone map poster reflects that layered history: a winding river with bridges, a compact older centre, a large green expanse and newer estates on the slopes. The Medway gives the design its natural line and the radiating roads provide structure, producing a map that feels balanced and distinctly English.

Archbishop's Palace
Historic buildings cluster beside the river close to the town centre, including the old palace of the Archbishops of Canterbury, marking one of the oldest parts of town.
Mote Park
The large park on the eastern side shows as a broad open area around its lake, a soft shape of green space set against the tighter streets around it.

Miért Maidstone?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
Many Kent families have roots in Maidstone, and a map of it makes a considered gift for a new homeowner, a graduate or someone moving away. The river and park give the design balance, so it reads well even at the smaller 30×40 cm size.
