Manamadurai Map Poster & Print
Manamadurai lies in Sivaganga district, south-east of Madurai, on the Vaigai river as it flows toward the coast. The riverbed is wide and often sandy, and on the map it forms a broad band through the landscape, with the town's streets gathered close by. Beyond the built-up area, irrigation tanks and fields make a patchwork typical of southern Tamil Nadu.
The town is a railway junction where lines toward Madurai, Rameswaram and other destinations meet, so tracks are prominent on its map. It is also known for its pottery, recognised with a geographical indication and tied to the clay of the area. A Manamadurai map poster brings together the river, the rails and the dense lanes of the town.
In black and white the geometry is clear: straight railway lines, the soft edges of the river and the irregular pattern of streets and tanks around them. The composition feels grounded and specific, a portrait of a place shaped by water and transport rather than by any planned grid.

Railway junction
Several railway lines converge at Manamadurai. Their long straight tracks cross the fields and meet near the town, giving the composition strong directional lines.
Irrigation tanks
Around the town, traditional water tanks appear as rounded shapes among the fields. This landscape pattern is characteristic of this part of Tamil Nadu.
