Maulavi Bāzār Map Poster & Print
Maulavi Bāzār, often written Moulvibazar, is the administrative centre of a district in the Sylhet Division of north-eastern Bangladesh. The town sits on the Manu River, which loops through the landscape before joining the Kushiyara. From above, the streets gather along the riverbanks, with low green country stretching away on every side. Roads and crossings tie the two banks together.
The district is one of the centres of Bangladesh's tea industry, with estates spread over the low hills around Sreemangal. It also includes Hakaluki Haor, one of the largest wetlands in the country. These landscapes lie beyond the town itself, but they shape its role as the market and service centre for a wide farming region.
A Maulavi Bāzār map poster centres on the relationship between the river and the town. The curves of the Manu become the dominant line. The denser commercial streets sit on its banks, and residential lanes branch out toward the fields and ponds. It is a gentle, flowing composition, well suited to anyone with ties to Sylhet and its diaspora.

Bridges and banks
Crossings over the Manu connect the two sides of town, and the densest streets cluster where the road network meets the river.
Green surroundings
Beyond the built-up area, fields, ponds and waterways fill the frame. They are part of the low, wet landscape that stretches toward the wetlands and the tea hills.
