Río Colorado is a town in the north-east of Río Negro province, Argentina, located on the Colorado River, which here forms the border with La Pampa province. Across the river lies the smaller town of La Adela. On the map, the river is the dominant feature, winding through a wide valley and separating the two settlements with its meanders.
