The Touch corridor
The River Touch crosses the town inside a band of parkland. On the poster this green strip divides the residential areas and gives the eye a clear path.

Tournefeuille Map Poster & Print
Tournefeuille is on the western edge of Toulouse, in a part of Occitanie that grew quickly with the city's aerospace industry. Much of the town was built in the late twentieth century. From above, that shows as a field of residential neighbourhoods with winding streets and cul-de-sacs, grouped around a small historic centre.
The River Touch runs through the town from south to north on its way to the Garonne. Its banks are kept as a green corridor, with footpaths and parkland along the water, so on the map a soft band cuts through the housing. Lakes and open spaces add lighter patches elsewhere in the town.
A Tournefeuille map poster shows suburban France at its most orderly. Streets curl like fingerprints, the river corridor gives the composition a spine, and the ring roads of greater Toulouse frame the eastern edge. It is a good record of the place where many people chose to settle and raise families.

Curving lotissements
Late twentieth-century housing developments form loops and dead-end streets. Together they make a fine, organic texture unlike the straight lines of central Toulouse.
Edge of the métropole
Tournefeuille borders the wider Toulouse area to the east. A slightly wider crop shows where the suburb's pattern meets the larger road network of the city.

Miért Tournefeuille?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
Tournefeuille is often where a family's Toulouse story actually takes place: the first house, the school run, weekends by the Touch. A map of those streets is a personal, understated piece for a hallway or study.
You can change the title and subtitle, for example to your street or the year you moved in, and adjust the coordinates line. The styles are Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
