The river winds through the city in a continuous strip of parkland, drawing a soft, curving line through the otherwise regular street grid.

Wauwatosa Map Poster & Print
Wauwatosa lies immediately west of Milwaukee, and its streets continue the city's grid across the county line. What sets its map apart is the Menomonee River, which winds south through the city in a green corridor of parks and parkways. The river and its wooded banks cut the regular blocks into irregular sections.
The historic centre, known as the Village, grew up where the river met the old roads west of Milwaukee. Tosa, as locals call it, also includes the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center on the old County Grounds and the Mayfair shopping centre. It is home to Frank Lloyd Wright's Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, whose domed, circular design is one of his late works.
A Wauwatosa map poster shows how the green river valley shapes the suburb around it. There are neat residential streets, curving parkways and the large open blocks of the medical campus. It is a natural choice for people who bought a home in Tosa, studied or worked at the medical centre, or grew up walking along the Menomonee.

The Village
The historic centre sits where old roads meet near the river, forming a small cluster of angled streets that stands out from the grid.
County Grounds
The medical centre and surrounding open land fill a large area on the city's west side, creating broad, simpler shapes on the map.

Miért Wauwatosa?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
Wauwatosa is a place people choose to settle in, and a map of it often marks a milestone: a first house, a new job, a growing family. The clean design keeps the focus on the streets and the river that make the neighbourhood.
Add a family name to the title, a move-in date to the subtitle, and adjust the coordinates line to mark a specific address. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then order a print or download the HD files.
