Nene valley floor
South of the town the Nene winds through wide, low ground with lakes and meadows. On the map it is an open band of curves and water beneath the streets.

Wellingborough Map Poster & Print
Wellingborough is a market town in Northamptonshire, in the English Midlands. On the map the town climbs north from the broad, flat valley of the River Nene. The older centre sits on the higher ground, with streets fanning out from it, and newer estates spread north and west over the years. The valley floor to the south stays mostly open, with water meadows and flooded gravel workings.
The River Ise comes down from the north along the eastern side of town and joins the Nene below it, so the town is framed by water on two sides. The Midland Main Line runs past the eastern edge, and the station and its tracks draw a long straight line against the looser, older pattern of the centre.
The name is usually linked to the springs and wells of the area, and wells still appear in the town's heraldry. A Wellingborough map poster shows how the town sits on its slope: a clustered core on the hill, the two river valleys and the rail line marking the edges.

River Ise
A smaller river coming in from the north along the eastern side of town before it joins the Nene, giving the map a second, gentler line of water.
Old centre on the hill
The historic core sits above the valley, with streets running outward from it. It is noticeably denser and less regular than the planned estates further out.

Miért Wellingborough?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
Wellingborough is often a home town people leave and come back to, or a commuter base on the line to London. A map of its hill, rivers and railway works as a quiet reminder of that place, suited to a hallway, study or a gift to parents.
Add a personal title, a subtitle with a date, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand to fit the room.
