Terrain-led streets
Instead of straight avenues, Yongxi's roads curve with the hills. The result is an organic network that shows at a glance how the town was fitted into rolling ground.

Yongxi Map Poster & Print
Yongxi is a town in the rolling country of western Chongqing, where low hills, small valleys and farmland make up most of the landscape. On a map the built-up area appears as a compact cluster, with streets that follow the ground rather than a rigid grid. Roads curve to find level routes, and the town thins out quickly into the surrounding fields.
Watercourses and ponds are common across this part of Sichuan Basin country, and they give the map small, irregular accents among the roads. The town's outline is shaped by the terrain. It spreads along the flatter ground and stops where the hills rise, so the poster shows a settlement adapted to its setting rather than imposed on it.
A Yongxi map poster is a personal object more than a tourist one. It is for people who grew up here, have family in the town, or moved on to Chongqing's larger districts and further afield. The plan is modest in scale, and its winding streets and scattered rural roads make a delicate, detailed print.

Compact centre
The densest part of the town forms a tight knot of lanes and buildings. It stands out clearly against the lighter pattern of the countryside around it.
Rural surroundings
Beyond the edge of town, thin country roads and small waterways spread across the frame, giving the poster a soft, open border.

Miért Yongxi?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
Hometown maps carry weight for people who have left. A Yongxi poster puts the familiar streets, the route to school and the road out of town into one calm image. It can remind someone of where a family comes from.
Add a title in your own words, a subtitle with a family name or a date, and your own coordinates line. Then pick one of five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
