La mappa
Āb Pakhsh Map Poster & Print
Āb Pakhsh is a town in Bushehr Province, in southern Iran, on the flat, hot plain inland from the Persian Gulf coast. On a map it is a compact settlement with a network of streets surrounded by farmland. Roads and field boundaries divide the land into long, regular strips.
The region is agricultural, known for date palms and irrigated crops, and the fields around the town show this clearly on the map. Low ridges of the Zagros foothills rise to the north and east, marking the edge of the coastal plain.
An Āb Pakhsh map poster turns this landscape into a quiet composition: the dense centre, the lines of roads and fields and the open land beyond. It is a personal print for people whose roots lie in this part of southern Iran.
