Hillside streets
The town's streets bend around slopes and climb between neighbourhoods. The result is an irregular network with a strong sense of topography, even in a flat drawing.

La mappa
Akdağmadeni Map Poster & Print
Akdağmadeni is a district town in Yozgat Province, in the highlands of central Anatolia. It lies at altitude, in country of rounded hills, open fields and long views. From above, the town's streets spread across uneven ground. They follow slopes and ridges rather than a regular grid, with a denser centre and looser housing toward the edges.
Its name points to mining. Madeni means of the mine, and the area around Akdağ was known for its mineral deposits in earlier centuries. Today it is a quieter place, rooted in the agriculture and small-town life of the Anatolian plateau.
An Akdağmadeni map poster shows a town adapted to its terrain. Streets curve and climb, junctions meet at irregular angles, and roads leave town along valleys toward the surrounding villages. In black and white, the pattern has a natural rhythm. It feels far removed from planned cities and close to the land it sits on.

Perché Akdağmadeni
Una mappa che ha un significato
Many families from central Anatolia now live far from the towns they come from. A map of Akdağmadeni keeps that origin on the wall and gives a clear, recognisable view of home for parents, grandparents and the next generation.
Personalise the title and subtitle with a family name, a village or a special date, and set the coordinates as you wish. Choose Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Printed posters come on matte paper, with an optional wooden frame.
