Hillside grid
Rectangular blocks fill the centre and adapt gently to the slope. The result is a grid that is orderly without being rigid, and reads well at larger sizes.

La mappa
Ampére Map Poster & Print
Ampére is a municipality in the Sudoeste region of Paraná, close to the borders with Santa Catarina and Argentina. Much of the area is rolling country, with small creeks running through wooded strips between cultivated slopes. Family farms, grain and livestock have shaped both the land and the rhythm of the town.
On a map, the urban centre is a neat set of rectangular blocks adjusted to the terrain. Streets bend where the ground falls toward a stream and straighten again on the ridges. Rural roads lead from the edge of town into the surrounding hills, following ridgelines and linking farms spread across the municipality.
The Ampére map poster captures this balance between a regular street plan and the irregular hills around it. The dense grid of the centre gives way to looser, curving roads. Thin, meandering lines mark the creeks. It is a quiet portrait of a town in inland southern Brazil.

Stream valleys
Small watercourses cut through the landscape in winding lines, bordered by woodland. They add organic curves that soften the edges of the urban area.
Ridge roads
Rural roads leave town along the high ground and branch toward farms. They create a spreading network of lines across the outer parts of the poster.
