Dense centre
The old core is a tight cluster of short streets and small blocks. It is noticeably denser than the newer neighbourhoods around it.

La mappa
Ar Ramthā Map Poster & Print
Ar Ramthā sits in the far north of Jordan, just south of the Syrian border and opposite the city of Daraa. It stands on the broad, level Hauran plateau. The map shows a compact centre with streets packed tightly together, surrounded by a wide ring of farm plots and scattered houses.
Main roads leave the town in several directions: south to Irbid and toward Amman, and north to the border crossing. These radiating lines give the map most of its structure. Between them, the land is divided into long agricultural parcels, and their edges make a fine, regular texture around the town.
An Ar Ramthā map poster is a small, sober composition, with a dense centre and open land around it. It suits anyone who knows the town well, whether they grew up there, moved away or crossed the border here. The way the roads fan out makes a clear graphic shape even without a river or coast.

Radiating roads
Main roads leave the town toward Irbid, Amman and the border. They form a simple star shape that holds the whole map together.
Plateau farmland
Long field boundaries cover the flat Hauran plateau around the town. In black and white, they add quiet, parallel lines to the edges of the poster.
