La mappa
Berbérati Map Poster & Print
Berbérati is the capital of the Mambéré-Kadéï prefecture and one of the largest towns in the Central African Republic. It lies in the south-west of the country, not far from the border with Cameroon. The town is widely spread, with a central area of more regular blocks around administrative and commercial buildings. Residential quarters extend into the surrounding wooded, gently rolling land.
The region around Berbérati has long been associated with diamond mining, coffee and timber. The town is a hub for roads connecting western CAR with Cameroon, and it is also the seat of a Catholic diocese. On the map these roles show as roads converging on the centre and a street network that gradually loosens into tracks toward the edges.
A Berbérati map poster presents the town as it looks from above: a clear centre, broad blocks, and residential areas where the street pattern opens up and softens. There is plenty of space in the composition, which gives the lines room to breathe, and the result is calm and uncluttered.

Converging roads
Routes from the surrounding region and from the Cameroon border meet in the town, forming the main lines along which Berbérati has grown.
Open quarters
Residential areas at the edges are loosely built, with tracks and open ground between them, so the town thins gradually into countryside.

Perché Berbérati
Una mappa che ha un significato
Berbérati is rarely mapped in detail outside official documents. That makes a poster of its streets especially personal for people who come from there or have worked in the region. Title it with the town's name or your own, add a date, and choose the coordinates you want to remember.
Five styles are offered: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. The $9 digital files come in six print sizes, each as a 300 DPI PNG plus a print-ready PDF. Matte printed posters, with an optional wooden frame, can be ordered from partners in more than 30 countries.
