La mappa
Bhiwadi Map Poster & Print
Bhiwadi lies at the northern tip of Rajasthan, right on the border with Haryana and within the wider National Capital Region. On a map it is clearly a planned industrial town. Large industrial estates are divided into phases, and residential areas are arranged in sectors with straight internal roads. Much of it has been built in the last few decades.
The town grew as a manufacturing centre drawing on its closeness to Delhi and Gurugram. Factories, warehouses and apartment complexes spread along the main roads. Low, rocky hills of the Aravalli range lie nearby and break up the otherwise flat terrain.
A Bhiwadi map poster shows a young town still being filled in. In black and white, the large rectangles of industrial plots, the regular sector grids and the gaps of undeveloped land make a composition that is geometric and a little sparse. It is a straightforward picture of a place built for work.
