La mappa
Bom Jesus dos Perdões Map Poster & Print
Bom Jesus dos Perdões is a municipality in São Paulo state, in the hilly country north of the metropolitan area, near Atibaia and Nazaré Paulista. From above, the town centre is a small cluster of streets around a main square and church, with housing spreading along the valleys. Hills, farmland and patches of woodland lie all around.
The Fernão Dias highway, which links São Paulo to Belo Horizonte, runs close to the town and has shaped its connections and growth. The region's mild climate and hills have made it attractive for country houses and small farms. The town's name, meaning Good Jesus of Forgiveness, reflects its religious foundations.
A Bom Jesus dos Perdões map poster shows a Brazilian interior town set in rolling terrain: a compact centre, streets bending to follow the contours, and a highway cutting a straight line nearby. The ground is uneven, and the roads show it. In monochrome, the result is modest and orderly, a portrait of a quiet place close to a large city.

Fernão Dias highway
The major highway between São Paulo and Minas Gerais runs nearby, a broad, direct line that contrasts with the curving local roads.
Rolling hills
The town sits in a landscape of hills and valleys, so its streets curve and branch following the terrain rather than a strict grid.
