Two rivers
The Prahova and Doftana run on either side of the town, their valleys framing the built-up terrace like a pair of parentheses on the poster.

La mappa
Câmpina Map Poster & Print
Câmpina lies in Prahova County, Romania, on a raised terrace between two rivers, the Prahova to the west and the Doftana to the east. The Prahova Valley corridor, the main route from Bucharest to Brașov, runs past the town. On the map, streets stretch along the terrace in an elongated north–south shape, with slopes dropping toward both valleys.
From the late nineteenth century the town became a centre of Romania's oil industry, and refineries and workers' districts left their mark on its layout. Câmpina is also known for the Iulia Hasdeu Castle, an unusual building raised by the scholar Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu in memory of his daughter, and for the memorial house of the painter Nicolae Grigorescu.
A Câmpina map poster shows the town bounded by its rivers, the older centre along the main road, and the industrial areas and residential streets that followed. With the foothills rising to the north, it forms a balanced composition, meaningful for anyone from Prahova or anyone who knows the road into the mountains.

North–south spine
The main route through the Prahova Valley passes the town, and Câmpina's central streets line up along this long north–south axis.
Oil-era districts
Former refinery sites and workers' quarters appear as broad blocks and tighter streets, a clear record of the town's long industrial past.

Perché Câmpina
Una mappa che ha un significato
Câmpina is a place many people pass through on the way to the mountains, but for those who lived here it means much more: walks to the castle, the river terraces, the character of an oil town. A framed map keeps that identity quietly visible.
