Curving avenues
Wide boulevards bend through the neighbourhoods and meet at plazas and fountains. They create a flowing pattern that clearly differs from the straight grid of nearby Miami.

La mappa
Coral Gables Map Poster & Print
Coral Gables was planned in the 1920s by George Merrick, and its map still looks designed. Unlike Miami's strict grid, its streets curve through leafy neighbourhoods, meet at formal plazas and entrances, and change direction around golf courses and parks. In the south, canals branch through residential areas toward Biscayne Bay, giving many houses water frontage.
The city is known for its Mediterranean Revival architecture and strict design rules. Its landmarks include the Biltmore Hotel, whose tower rises beside a golf course, and the Venetian Pool, created from an old coral rock quarry. The University of Miami's main campus is here too, and Miracle Mile is the central shopping street.
A Coral Gables map poster shows a planned city in detail: curving boulevards, circular plazas, the university campus and the fine lines of the canals. The range of textures, from ordered downtown blocks to looping waterside streets, works especially well in monochrome. It is a strong choice for people who value design and intention in a city.

Canal network
In the southern part of the city, canals branch through residential streets toward Biscayne Bay. On the map they appear as thin, looping water lines between house plots.
University campus
The University of Miami campus forms a distinct area of large buildings, paths and a lake. It is easy to spot within the finer pattern of the neighbourhoods around it.
