Dense old centre
The core of the town forms a tight network of lanes, visibly denser than the newer streets that extend along the approach roads.

La mappa
Dera Bugti Map Poster & Print
Dera Bugti is the main town of the district of the same name in eastern Balochistan, close to the foothills of the Sulaiman range. The landscape around it is arid, and on a map it appears as open ground crossed by dry watercourses, with the town forming a small, dense cluster where roads converge.
The district is the homeland of the Bugti tribe, and it is also known nationally for the Sui gas field, discovered in the early 1950s and for decades one of Pakistan's most important sources of natural gas. The town itself is modest in size, with a street pattern that grew outward from an older centre.
A Dera Bugti map poster shows a settlement set against a vast, sparse terrain. The streets are concentrated and the land around them is almost empty on the map, apart from a few roads and seasonal streams. That contrast gives the print an austere, striking composition.

Dry streambeds
Seasonal watercourses cross the surrounding plain, drawn as thin branching lines that carry water only after rain in this arid region.
Roads into the hills
A small number of roads leave the town toward the ridges and neighbouring settlements, giving the design a few strong lines across otherwise open ground.
