La mappa
Dieppe Map Poster & Print
Dieppe forms the eastern part of Greater Moncton in New Brunswick, and its map shows a city that grew rapidly in the late twentieth century. Older roads run in straight lines through the centre, while newer neighbourhoods are drawn in loops, crescents and cul-de-sacs. The Greater Moncton airport lies within the city, and its runways make one of the boldest shapes on the page.
The community was known as Leger Corner until 1946, when it took the name Dieppe to honour Canadian soldiers who fought in the 1942 raid on the French port of the same name. It is also a largely French-speaking city, one of the main centres of Acadian life in the province, with signage and schools reflecting that identity.
A Dieppe map poster places the city against its surroundings: the grid of Moncton to the west, open fields and marsh toward the Petitcodiac River to the south, and highways tying the region together. The mix of curving residential streets and long straight arterials gives the drawing a varied, layered texture.

Suburban crescents
Residential areas built in recent decades use loops and cul-de-sacs, giving large parts of the map a soft, rounded pattern distinct from the straight older roads.
Southern marshland
Toward the Petitcodiac River the land opens into marsh and fields, a lightly drawn edge that shows where the city meets the tidal estuary.

Perché Dieppe
Una mappa che ha un significato
Dieppe is home to many Acadian families and to newcomers drawn by the Moncton region's growth. A map of it marks a place where people settle, buy first houses and raise children, and it makes a meaningful gift for a move or a new address.
You can set the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with a street name or moving date, and choose between Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Printed posters are available on matte paper, with an optional wooden frame.
