Lake Ossa shoreline
The lake complex north of town has a ragged outline of bays, points and islands. In black and white it becomes the most intricate shape on the sheet.

La mappa
Dizangué Map Poster & Print
Dizangué sits in Cameroon's Littoral Region, in low, well-watered country south of Edéa. From above, the town is a loose cluster of streets and compounds with water close by on several sides. The broad Sanaga River runs through the district, and the lakes to the north break the land into irregular shapes. On a map, the water sets the terms and the town fits itself around it.
The best-known feature nearby is Lake Ossa, a lake complex that is a protected wildlife reserve and is known for its population of African manatees. Its shoreline wanders in inlets and small islands, which gives the map a delicate, uneven edge. Farther out, the ground is divided into plantation blocks, whose straight tracks contrast with the curving shorelines.
A Dizangué map poster treats all of this in simple black and white. The river becomes a solid band, the lakes become quiet shapes of negative space, and the thin street lines of the town sit between them. It is a modest subject, but a truthful one: a portrait of a place defined by water, printed at a scale where every inlet can be read.

The Sanaga River
Cameroon's longest river runs through the district as a wide band. Its size makes the town's streets look small and gives the composition a strong horizontal anchor.
Plantation geometry
Straight access roads and rectangular blocks in the surrounding farmland give the map a quiet grid, which sits in contrast to the looping water edges.
