Valley setting
The town sits on lower ground between gentle hills. Its streets gather into a dense core and then stretch along the valley roads, a shape that reads clearly at poster scale.

La mappa
Dongfeng Map Poster & Print
Dongfeng is a county town under Liaoyuan, in the south of Jilin province, where the plains of the northeast begin to fold into low, wooded hills. From above, the urban area is a tight cluster of blocks on a valley floor, with roads running out along the lower ground toward villages and fields. The line between built streets and farmland is clear, which gives the map a crisp outline.
The county is widely associated with sika deer farming, which has shaped its rural economy for generations. It is also known for Dongfeng peasant painting, a folk art tradition of bright, detailed village scenes. Neither appears on a street map, but both point to a place where town and countryside sit close together, and the field patterns around the town show that closeness.
A Dongfeng map poster keeps that relationship in view. The main streets form the spine of the composition, smaller lanes fill the blocks between them, and the network thins at the margins where the town gives way to farmland. In black and white the pattern becomes a quiet study of a northeastern county seat, not a tourist view.

Town and field edge
Beyond the last blocks, the network shifts to long rural roads and field boundaries. This gives the map a distinct border between the built-up streets and the farmland around them.
Radiating roads
Several routes leave the centre toward neighbouring townships and Liaoyuan. They draw thin lines outward from the core and tie the town into its wider county landscape.
