Lea Valley reservoirs
Large reservoirs line the eastern edge of the district. Their broad, straight-edged shapes create a dramatic block of water beside the fine street grid.

La mappa
Edmonton Map Poster & Print
Edmonton is in the London Borough of Enfield, in the north of the capital. On the map it is a dense grid of terraced streets. The old Roman line of Hertford Road and the A10 run north through it, and the North Circular crosses east to west along its southern side. Edmonton Green sits near the middle as its commercial heart.
The eastern edge is made of water. The Lea Valley holds a chain of large reservoirs and the River Lee Navigation, which form broad, geometric shapes that contrast sharply with the fine residential grain to the west. Pymmes Park and other green spaces break up the streets in between.
The area has literary connections. John Keats served an apprenticeship to a surgeon here as a young man, and the essayist Charles Lamb spent his last years in Edmonton and is buried in the churchyard of All Saints. An Edmonton map poster captures a real piece of London, busy, residential and bordered by water on one side.

North Circular
The A406 cuts across the south of Edmonton as a wide, sweeping road. On the poster it is a strong dividing line through the terraces.
Terraced street grid
Rows of Victorian and interwar terraces fill most of the map. The dense, even pattern gives the print a textured, distinctly London look.

Perché Edmonton
Una mappa che ha un significato
Edmonton is home to long-established London families and to many who have arrived more recently. A map of these streets is a personal record of a neighbourhood that is often overlooked, and it suits a first flat, a family home or a new start elsewhere.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with your postcode or the year you moved in. Noir suits the dense grid, and Blueprint sharpens the reservoirs. HD files cost $9, and printed posters with optional wooden frames ship from UK partners.
