Town on high ground
The street grid spreads across elevated terrain, adjusting to the curves of the slopes so that blocks bend and lengthen away from the centre.

La mappa
Encruzilhada do Sul Map Poster & Print
Encruzilhada do Sul lies in the uplands of central Rio Grande do Sul, among the rolling hills of the Serra do Sudeste. The town sits on high ground, and its streets are laid out across the summit and upper slopes, with roads leaving in several directions toward farms, ranches and neighbouring municipalities.
The name means crossroads of the south, reflecting the town's origins at a meeting point of routes used in the region's early settlement. The surrounding countryside is devoted largely to cattle ranching, forestry and agriculture, and the municipality covers a wide territory in which the town itself is only a small, concentrated centre.
An Encruzilhada do Sul map poster captures that sense of a meeting place: a compact grid at the centre and roads leaving it like spokes, each following the terrain. The hills around the town soften the edges of the plan, and the open countryside gives the composition space. It is a quiet, well-balanced map with a clear focal point.
