Curving residential streets
Instead of a grid, the neighbourhoods are made of bending streets, loops and cul-de-sacs. It is the classic look of a planned postwar suburb.

La mappa
Forest Park Map Poster & Print
Forest Park is a suburb in Hamilton County, north of Cincinnati. It was developed from the 1950s onward as a planned community. That origin shows plainly on the map. There is almost no grid here. Instead there are curving residential streets, loops and cul-de-sacs, grouped into neighbourhoods that feed onto a few main roads.
The patterns are deliberate. Streets bend around small hills and in and out of each other in a way typical of American postwar planning. Along one side of the city lies the wide wooded area of Winton Woods, a large county park with a lake. On paper, it forms a big open space next to the dense residential loops.
A Forest Park map poster is a fitting print for anyone who grew up among these curving streets, or who has made a home here more recently. It also appeals to people interested in suburban planning. From above, the curves and loops look almost ornamental, especially in black and white.

Winton Woods
The large county park beside the city is a wide wooded area with a lake. Next to the busy street pattern it reads as a calm, open space.
Main road spine
A small number of main roads collect traffic from the neighbourhoods. They cross the drawing as straighter, heavier lines.

Perché Forest Park
Una mappa che ha un significato
A map of Forest Park marks a first family house, a childhood street, or a move to the Cincinnati area. The curving streets have a graphic quality that works well at larger print sizes.
Personalise the title, the subtitle and the coordinates line, for example with a street name or the year you moved in. Then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
