Hilly terrain
The town sits in undulating country, so streets curve around slopes and the overall outline of the settlement is irregular and organic.

La mappa
Ijebu-Jesa Map Poster & Print
Ijebu-Jesa is a town in Osun State in south-western Nigeria, part of the historic Ijesa area near Ilesa. The land here is rolling and wooded, and the town's streets respond to that terrain: roads curve with the slopes, and residential areas spread out in irregular clusters rather than a strict grid.
The town is one of the traditional Ijesa communities, with its own ruler and a strong sense of local identity. Many people from Ijebu-Jesa live in Lagos, Ibadan or abroad and return for festivals and family events, which gives the town a meaning well beyond its size.
An Ijebu-Jesa map poster captures the organic layout that comes from building on uneven ground: roads that bend and branch, compounds grouped along them, and green space closing in at the edges. It is a map of home for many people who now live somewhere else.

Green edges
Surrounding farmland and forest press close to the built-up area, giving the map a soft, open border rather than a sprawling fringe.
