Regular street grid
The centre is laid out in evenly spaced blocks. On the poster this reads as a crisp checkerboard that immediately defines the town.

La mappa
Itaberá Map Poster & Print
Itaberá is a municipality in the southwest of São Paulo state, in agricultural country toward the border with Paraná. From above the town is a neat, compact grid of streets, typical of many interior Brazilian towns, set among large fields. Roads leave the centre in a few directions and the surrounding land is divided into broad rural plots.
The regular blocks give the urban area a clean, geometric look on the map, while the countryside is marked mainly by long roads, farm tracks and the lines of streams. That contrast between a tight grid and wide open land is what makes the print work.
An Itaberá map poster is a straightforward, honest portrait of a small interior town. It will mean most to people who were born there, have family in the region or have spent time in rural São Paulo, where towns like this anchor wide stretches of farmland.

Roads into the country
A few main roads run out from the grid toward neighbouring towns, drawing long lines across the otherwise open rural surroundings.
Streams and fields
Small watercourses wind through the farmland around town. Together with field boundaries they add a light, irregular texture beyond the grid.
