The marina
A compact yacht harbour sits at the centre of the waterfront, its breakwaters drawing crisp geometric shapes against the soft curve of the shoreline.

La mappa
Kemer Map Poster & Print
Kemer occupies a narrow strip of flat land on the western coast of Antalya Province, where the Taurus Mountains come down almost to the sea. From above, the town runs along the shore in a long band: hotels and streets hug the waterline, while the contour of the mountains closes in sharply behind them, leaving little room to spread inland.
The coastline is the defining line on the map. A sheltered marina breaks the curve of the shore, beaches run north and south, and streams come down from the mountains to the sea. South along the coast lie the ruins of ancient Phaselis, and inland the land climbs quickly towards the peaks of the Beydağları range.
A Kemer map poster shows this tension between sea and slope in plain black and white. The dense town, the smooth arc of the coast and the empty mountainside above it make a well-balanced composition, which is often a reminder of long summer holidays on the Turkish Riviera.

Mountain backdrop
The Taurus Mountains rise steeply just inland, so the built-up area stays confined to a narrow coastal plain and the map shows a clear edge between town and slope.
Coastal strip
Hotels, beaches and promenades line the shore for kilometres, forming a continuous band of development that follows every bend of the Mediterranean coast.

Perché Kemer
Una mappa che ha un significato
Kemer is often where a summer happened: a honeymoon, a family holiday, a season working on the coast. A map of it keeps the memory specific, down to the shape of the bay and the streets you walked each evening, without resorting to a holiday photograph.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, for example with the dates of your stay. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download the HD files for $9 or order a printed poster, framed if you like.
