La mappa
Kiwira Map Poster & Print
Kiwira is in the Mbeya region of southern Tanzania, in the green highlands south of the city of Mbeya, between Mbeya and the lowlands near Lake Nyasa. The area receives plenty of rain, and the landscape around the town is made up of hills, small farms and river valleys.
On a map, Kiwira appears as a modest settlement shaped by the terrain. Its streets follow the main road and spread along the lower ground, with paths and tracks branching out to farms and nearby villages. The Kiwira River runs through the area, and the town's name is also associated with the coal mine that has operated in the district.
A Kiwira map poster offers a quiet, open design. With a small street network and a large landscape, the composition is mostly about lines of road and water crossing the hills, with the town forming a concentrated cluster of detail at its centre.

Road-shaped town
