Palace grounds
The Kertha Gosa and the remains of the royal palace occupy a walled garden in the town centre. On the poster they form a distinct open block near the main crossroads.

La mappa
Klungkung Map Poster & Print
Klungkung, whose town is known as Semarapura, lies in eastern Bali between the slopes rising toward Mount Agung and the southern coast. The regency also includes the islands of Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan across the strait. On the mainland, the town centre is compact, with a crossroads at its heart and main roads leading toward Gianyar, Karangasem and the coast.
Klungkung was the seat of Bali's most senior royal house. Its best-known landmark is the Kertha Gosa, a pavilion with a painted ceiling in traditional Kamasan style, set in the remaining grounds of the old palace. In 1908 the royal court ended in a puputan, a ritual mass sacrifice in the face of the Dutch army, an event commemorated by a monument in the town.
A Klungkung map poster pairs the tight centre around the palace gardens with the ribbons of road and river that run down to the sea. It is a gentle, balanced composition for a place of real historical weight.

Perché Klungkung
Una mappa che ha un significato
For many visitors, Klungkung is where Bali's history becomes tangible. For Balinese families it is simply home. A map of the old royal town is a thoughtful keepsake of either experience, and it avoids the usual beach imagery.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, such as a ceremony date or a family name. Choose a style: Sand and Paper give warm tones, and Noir makes a dramatic contrast.
