La mappa
Las Flores Map Poster & Print
Las Flores lies in the centre of Buenos Aires Province, on the flat and fertile pampas south of the capital. On a map, it follows the classic layout of towns in this region: a grid of square blocks arranged around a central plaza, with the main civic buildings facing it and the streets extending evenly in every direction.
Beyond the town, the pattern continues on a larger scale. Rural roads run in long straight lines between fields and estancias, and a railway line reaches the town from the north, part of the network that once connected pampas towns to the port of Buenos Aires.
A Las Flores map poster shows this geometry at its cleanest: the precise grid of the centre, the open fields around it and the long roads fading toward the horizon. It is an elegant, orderly image that suits people with roots in the Argentine countryside.
