Seym floodplain
The Seym winds through a broad, low valley with meadows and old channels. Its curves and oxbows give the poster its most organic lines.

La mappa
L’govskiy Map Poster & Print
L’govskiy lies in the west of Kursk Oblast, in the valley of the Seym River. From above, the town's streets form a loose grid on the higher ground, with the river winding through a wide, low floodplain nearby. Meadows, oxbows and tree lines along the water make the river side of the map soft and irregular.
The railway plays a large part in the town's layout, with tracks and station areas running across the plan in long, straight lines. Residential streets of private houses with gardens fill most of the blocks, while larger buildings cluster around the centre. Beyond the town, open farmland of the Central Russian Upland stretches in every direction.
A L’govskiy map poster shows a typical small town of the Russian black-earth region in a clear, graphic form: straight streets and rail lines on one side, a winding river and its floodplain on the other. It is a quiet, personal print for people who come from the town or have family there.

Railway lines
Long, straight tracks cross the town and divide it into sections. They form strong linear accents that contrast with the river's irregular course.
Garden blocks
Most neighbourhoods consist of private houses with long gardens. Their regular blocks create a calm, even texture across the town.
