Old village cores
Tightly packed lanes mark the older settlements. On the poster they show up as dense, finely drawn patches among the newer, looser development.

La mappa
Ligezhuang Map Poster & Print
Ligezhuang lies on the low coastal plain in the Qingdao region, in the orbit of Jiaozhou and the northern shore of Jiaozhou Bay. The land is flat and crossed by small rivers and drainage channels heading for the bay. From above, the older village streets show a fine, tight pattern. Wider modern roads and large factory plots cut through them.
In recent decades this part of Qingdao has changed quickly. New transport links and industrial areas have spread across what was mostly farmland. Maps of Ligezhuang show that change clearly. Compact traditional settlements sit next to broad arterial roads and big rectangular sites, and patches of open fields remain between them.
A Ligezhuang map poster records a town caught between its rural past and its regional present. The fine grain of old lanes contrasts with the bold strokes of new infrastructure, and waterways wander across the plain. It makes a thoughtful piece for people who grew up here or who have watched this part of Qingdao grow.

New arterial roads
Wide, straight roads cross the area on regular lines, linking it with Jiaozhou and central Qingdao. They are the strongest strokes on the map.
Coastal plain
Low ground and small waterways drain south toward Jiaozhou Bay. They give the map gentle curves between the built-up blocks.
